Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag

I was tagged by my dear friend Melanie @ Meltotheany (and I AM ACTUALLY DOING THE TAG, somebody take a picture or something) but it appears that the original tag was created by Jenniely’s blog! PS, this picture had nothing to do with the tag, but these editions are gorgeous and I couldn’t resist.

➽ 1. Received an ARC and not reviewed it
I have a few that were sent to me that I did not specifically request that I’m still working on getting to (I WILL SOON, I SWEAR). HOWEVER, there are a few that I DID request that I had to DNF/not review because the formatting of the eARC was so bad.

➽ 2. Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley
I’m definitely over 60%, but I’m still working hard for that elusive 80%!

➽ 3. Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did)
YEP. Drat.

➽ 4. Folded down the page of a book
I used to but recently this really bothers me.

➽ 5. Accidentally spilled on a book
Probably. Unfortunately.

➽ 6. DNF a book this year
Yes, the most recent being The Queens of Innis Lear – BUT I am full planning on giving this beauty another shot in the new year.

➽ 7. Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it
YEP. Exhibit A: the Ravenclaw editions of Harry Potter.

➽ 8. Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework)
Literally all the time.

➽ 9. Skim read a book
Usually on a re-read.

➽ 10. Completely missed your Goodreads goal
Yep, while I was in grad school. What even was reading during those years?

➽ 11. Borrowed a book and not returned it
I have three sitting on my shelf that I need to return…and I AM FULL PLANNING ON IT because this is a pet peeve of mine.

➽ 12. Broke a book buying ban
I am notorious for this. I don’t even know why I set them for myself, because everyone knows I am just going to break it.

➽ 13. Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about
I really try not to do this, although I did just write a review and basically had to skim through the book to remind myself what happened in the end.

➽ 14. Wrote in a book you were reading

➽ 15. Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads
This bothers me, I am too OCD for this.

➽ 16. Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend
Didn’t we already cover this…? I’m gonna say no since I will definitely be returning these.

➽ 17. Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book
Yes because books off my shelf cause me anxiety.

➽ 18. Broke the spine of someone else’s book
No, you heathens!

➽ 19. Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged
Yeeeeeeep this happens to me all the time.

➽ 20. Sat on a book accidentally
Probably. I am clumsy.

Yes: 13

No: 7

I’m not sure if that makes me naughty or nice? Only Santa knows…

This was a super cute tag, and I’m going to make an effort to do more of these in the future. I’m tagging a few lovely bloggers down at the bottom (check them all out!) but if you want to do this, consider yourself tagged!
